LIMA 2015: MSA makes its regional debut

Boeing is ramping up its campaign for launch customers for its Maritime Surveillance Aircraft (MSA) by bringing the aircraft to Asia for the first time and exhibiting it at LIMA 2015.

The company officially unveiled the aircraft at the Farnborough Air show last year and has been conducting testing since then, according to Bob Schoeffling, senior manager, business development MSA. The aircraft is being developed to meet what the company sees as a gap between platforms like its P-8 Poseidon and smaller turboprop maritime surveillance aircraft.
