Inside France’s frigate factory
As the finishing touches are put to Alsace – the seventh FREMM frigate being built for the French Navy – manufacturer Naval Group has moved to improve its shipbuilding facility at Lorient with increased capacity to paint and finish off blocks as they move through the production cycle.
