Construction of new base for Royal Navy of Oman underway
Work on a new southern fleet base for the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) near Salalah in the south of the country is underway, which, if completed, will provide Muscat with a new basing facility at the heart of one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world.
