Analysis: France dominates naval deliveries
Naval Group has delivered the first Gowind 2500 corvette to Egypt, representing the latest step in a long-term programme by the country in renewing its naval capabilities and highlighting France’s exporting power.
The new corvette, known as the ENS Elfateh, was delivered 36 months after the order was placed and is the first of four units heading to Egypt by 2019.
