Zhuhai Air Show 2018: China’s ‘Terminator’ isn’t just science fiction
The company Wuhan Guide Infrared made its debut at the Zhuhai Air Show, and one of its more fascinating items on display was the QN-506 Multi-Weapon Combat Vehicle based on a tracked chassis.
Some are comparing the QN-506 vehicle to the BMPT ‘Terminator’, which has entered Russian Army service, but the Chinese vehicle uses weapons and sensors sourced internally from within the company, according to Manala Wang, director of the company.
The firm describes the QN-506 as ‘an integrated weapon system with reconnaissance and strike capability’. Thus, it features these main components: a reconnaissance rotary-winged UAV (with 10km range), S570
