Zhuhai 2016: Beijing manufacturer debuts protected vehicles
Beijing Zhongzi Yanjing Automobile used the occasion of the 11th Zhuhai Air Show to debut a new range of armoured tactical vehicles that it hopes to sell to Chinese and international customers.
The firm’s appearance exemplified how the Zhuhai exhibition has surpassed its original remit of an air show and moved squarely into the land domain as well.
Zhu Bingeng, sales manager at the Beijing-based company, confirmed to Shephard that vehicle development concluded in 2014. The company showed off four vehicles from its Yanjing (YJ) Tiger range at the show, with the name signalling that it is actually a licence-built
