VBCI batch 2 underway
Final deliveries of the first batch of VBCI 8x8 vehicles for the French Army were completed this year and the next set has started arriving.
A spokesperson for Nexter told Shephard that the final vehicles in the first batch of 630 VBCI vehicles were delivered in March and that the first batch two vehicles followed on in April.
‘Nexter will deliver four upgraded VBCI per month until the summer of 2017,’ the spokesperson said.
He added: ‘They are not fitted with the T40 turret, the 32t VBCI keeps its 25mm turret. All of the 95 VBCI concerned by the upgrade
