US equips Lebanese Army with Bradleys
The US has delivered an initial batch of Bradley Fighting Vehicles to the Lebanese Armed Forces during a ceremony held at the Port of Beirut.
The ceremony on 14 August saw eight M2A2 Bradley Fighting Vehicles delivered along with armoured field artillery ammunition supply vehicles. A total of 32 Bradley vehicles will be delivered to Lebanon in the coming months.
US Ambassador Elizabeth Richard said at the ceremony that ‘this contribution to the Lebanese armed forces represents an investment of over $100 million'.
