Swedish IFVs get upgrade
The Swedish government has awarded BAE Systems a contract, to refurbish and upgrade CV90 infantry fighting vehicles for the Swedish Army.
The contract is worth approximately SEK1.5 billion ($184 million) and will encompass 262 units – over half the CV90 fleet. Work will begin immediately with the first upgraded vehicles scheduled to be returned to the army in 2018 and the last in 2020.
