Stryker lethality review complete
The plan to upgrade US Stryker armoured vehicles with a new automated turret and gun is moving ahead despite budgetary concerns.
A preliminary design review on the Kongsberg MCT30 Protector medium caliber remote weapon station fitted with a 30mm ATK gun was completed this week in Norway.
Tim Reese, manager of business development at GD Land Systems, told Shephard that the programme will pass through a critical design review in June with the engineering and manufacturing development phase to build the prototype vehicles due to start on 15 June.
He said while deliveries of vehicles will begin from the end
