Spanish Army procures new missile simulators
In order to improve the training of its soldiers, the Spanish Army acquired seven missiles simulators. In total, the service will invest €551 thousand (US $651 thousand) in one simulator of C-90/C-100, three of EUMP SPIKE IDT and three of Mistral.
The service published the award of three contracts on 12 November on the website of the Public Sector Procurement Platform. The suppliers will be the Spanish companies Instalaza and Adaptive Systems.
Instalaza will provide the C-90/C-100 simulator under a €108 thousand (US$ 127 thousand) agreement.
Adaptive Systems will supply the other six simulators. The Spanish Army awarded the company two deals: €205 thousand (US$ 242 thousand) to deliver the EUMP SPIKE IDT systems and €234 thousand (US$ 276 thousand) for the Mistral simulators (pictured).
The three agreements are likely to be signed by 14 of December according to the contract award notice.
