SOFEX 2016: Ukraine debuts Multirole APC
Making its debut in the Middle East at SOFEX was the Ukraine Promoboronexport’s Dozor-B light 4x4 armoured personnel carrier (APC).
Ukraine has been boosting its armoured vehicle manufacturing capability, including the development of its Azovets tracked fighting vehicle.
Manufactured by the Lvov facility, the Dozor-B is designed to protect the three-man crew comprising commander, driver and gunner and from small arms fire and up to eight dismounts seated in blast attenuating seats in the raised rear troop compartment which is accessed by a large rear door.
The steel hull is covered in ballistic protection material able to resist 7.62
