Slovakia to select new tactical vehicle by year end
The Slovakian Ministry of Defence has kicked off a new phase of testing in its search for a new all-terrain tactical vehicle, with the country expected to choose a preferred platform later this year.
The second phase of field trials commenced in June on the grounds of the Military Technical and Testing Institute Záhorie under the supervision of Slovak military personnel and MoD representatives.
Eight land platforms were tested at Záhorie, four of which successfully went through the first phase of field trials conducted late last year. These are the Otokar Cobra II, Nurol Makina Ejder Yalcin, Tatra
