Slovakia and Finland agree on customised Patria AMV
Slovakia and Finland agreed on 10 November to develop a new version of the Patria AMV 8x8 armoured vehicle.
According to Jan Holko, Chief Secretary of the Slovak Ministry of Defence, as well as an MoU between the two ministries on armoured vehicle development, there was also a technical agreement in place for working together with Finnish IFV manufacturer Patria.
Some 75% of the workshare in the development effort would be awarded to Slovakian companies, although no details have been revealed about the specific contractors involved in the effort.
