Carl-Gustaf ammo for Austria
The Austrian armed forces have placed an order with Saab for ammunition for the Carl-Gustaf man-portable weapon system, the company announced on 24 November.
Deliveries under the contract, which encompasses ammunition production and delivery, will be made during 2016-2017.
Torbjörn Saxmo, head of ground combat business unit, Saab, said: ‘The Carl-Gustaf is a world-leading weapon system which has repeatedly proven itself in the most demanding environments as a versatile, powerful tool for the infantry soldier.’
