Saab receives Brazilian order for RBS 70
Saab has received an order for the delivery of RBS 70 Very Short Range Air Defence (VSHORAD) systems to the Brazilian Army, the company announced on 30 October.
Deliveries are scheduled to take place during 2018 and 2019.
The contract includes RBS 70 man-portable launchers, night vision equipment, training simulators, multi-spectral camouflage and associated equipment for operators and maintainers.
Görgen Johansson, SVP and head of business area dynamics at Saab, said: ‘The overall market for short range air defence systems is growing and we see an increasing demand from Brazil and other customers around the world.’
