UK embarks on autonomous logistics quest with Theseus

The UK MoD has released a RfI to investigate an end-to-end highly automated ground and air resupply network enabled by a logistic information system.

Efforts to equip the UK armed forces with autonomous capabilities are extending to battlefield logistics, after the MoD issued an RfI for an end-to-end highly automated ground and air resupply network enabled by a logistic information system.

Under Project Theseus, information gathered from industry will be used to develop a solution that will work around the clock under any weather conditions. 

The ultimate aim is to enhance the mobility and safety of ground troops while reducing vulnerabilities.
