The UK MoD on 19 October announced its intention to procure 240 shotguns for £2.5 million ($3.2 million), in a contract notice on the EU tender webpage.
The eventual five-year contract will include deliveries in three batches. As the quantities of arms to be acquired are subject to review, the exact split for the lots is unknown at this stage.
The first and the second batches will include short-range shotguns, and the third batch will see delivery of long- and short-range weapons.

The missile was first unveiled at SeaFuture 2023 and later at the Farnborough International Airshow in July 2024. Operational delivery is expected in 2028.
