Rheinmetall shows off Lynx in Australian habitat
Rheinmetall has revealed the first of three KF41 Lynx IFVs that will be tested under the Land 400 Phase 3 project, designed to give the Australian Army a modern replacement for its M113AS4 fleet of APCs.
Cloaked in a typical Australian camouflage scheme, the vehicle was demonstrated on 10 November at a ceremony open only to partner companies for the project, with Rheinmetall vowing to publish its Australian list of suppliers soon.
The trio of vehicles manufactured in Germany will soon be competing against Hanwha’s AS21 Redback in a series of exhaustive trials. The 12-month risk mitigation activity will commence this
