Outgoing US Army chief hails improved readiness
As the US Army prepares to submit is FY20 budget the service remains confident that it will continue to build readiness and prepare for a ‘more volatile’ security environment than has been seen for many years.
Ahead of assuming the role of Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff GEN Mark Milley spoke in his current position as the Chief of Staff of the army during an AUSA breakfast held in Washington, DC about the future of the service.
‘The army has rebuilt and [we] will continue to rebuild the readiness of the US Army in the years to come,’
