Olin wins US Army ammunition contract
Olin Corporation announced today that its Winchester Division has been awarded a five year contract by the United States Army for the production of .50 Caliber, 5.56 millimeter, and 7.62 millimeter ammunition.
Deliveries under this contract, which has the potential to generate revenues over the next five years of approximately $300 million, are expected to commence in the first quarter of 2012.
