Milipol Asia 2019: Glock scoops pistol sale to Singapore police
Handgun maker Glock has been awarded a significant contract by the Singapore Police Force, the company announced on the opening day of Milipol Asia 2019 in Singapore.
Shephard understands the deal is for Glock 19 Gen5 compact pistols, the company winning after bidding as part of a competitive tender.
In a brief press release, which was bare in its content because of impositions from the police force, Glock stated: ‘After extensive testing, the Singapore Police Force has awarded the tender for the purchase of more than 6,000 Glock pistols to Glock Asia Pacific’s distributor, W.H Brennan & Co Pte Ltd.’
