Lockheed Martin UK develops turret facility
A new facility to streamline the design and fabrication of new turrets for the UK’s Scout and Warrior armoured vehicles will be built at Lockheed Martin UK’s (LMUK’s) site in Ampthill.
Construction of a new hall at the site was initiated during a ceremony on 12 May that will cost £5.4 million and comes as the Warrior Capability Sustainment Programme (WCSP) undergoes its Critical Design Review (CDR) next week.
