Land Forces 2018: Australia wants Boxer in the ring
Australia is buying its first 25 Boxer 8x8 armoured vehicles straight from the production line in Europe, it was revealed at Land Forces 2018 in Adelaide, in fulfilment of Project Land 400 Phase 2.
Maj Gen David Coghlan, head of the Land Systems Division, shared this news at the biennial Land Forces conference and exhibition. These 25 vehicles will be delivered within the next 12 months, and the first steel has already been cut for these Boxers being built in the Netherlands.
