Italian Army training to get heightened realism
Cubic Global Defense has been awarded a supplemental contract to deliver heightened realism for the Italian Army's combat training, the company said on 9 March.
The contract, worth over $2.6 million, will see Cubic deliver its next-generation training technology solutions to give the army improved realism to enable soldiers to train in a safe and immersive battlefield environment.
Under the contract, Cubic will integrate simulated chemical warfare events, targets, tactical missiles and main battle tanks. It will also provide custom scenarios and terrain as well as tailoring capabilities.
