Indonesia hails CAESAR
In a vote of confidence for Nexter's truck-based CAESAR 155mm L/52 howitzer, the Indonesian Army has lodged a repeat order for 18 systems.
In a press release issued on 20 February, Nexter noted, 'In addition to the artillery systems, Nexter will also provide its fire control system FINDART, CAESAR simulators for training and over 50 artillery battalion auxiliary vehicles assembled in Indonesia by its local partner PT Pindad.'
