IDEX 2019: S-400 deliveries on track for Turkey
As the battle for ground based air defence dominance continues the CEO of the Russian state corporation Rostec confirmed that deliveries of the Almaz-Antey S-400 Triumf will begin and continue through 2019.
‘We did sign the contract and this year, before the end of the year we will complete all the supplies we have,’ said Sergey Chemezov, CEO of Rostec, speaking through a translator at IDEX 2019. ‘The whole system will be supplied this year.’
This comes amidst comments from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan that the country will not turn back on the deal, a condition that was set
