IDEF 2015: New Teber-30 turret on Kaplan-20 IFV
A new medium calibre 30mm turret called Teber (Battle Axe) has been fitted to the new Kaplan-20 armoured vehicle from Turkish manufacturer FNSS.
The Kaplan-20 vehicle was unveiled at the IDEF exhibition on 5 May fitted with the unmanned version of the Teber-30 turret. It can also be provided as a manned system with two operators if required and can be fitted with the 30mm or 40mm ATK Mk44 cannon.
Kaplan-20 has a crew of three plus space for eight soldiers if the unmanned turret is used with space for six soldiers if the manned turret is installed instead.
