IDE signs new contract for Patriot sub-systems
Intracom Defense Electronics (IDE) has signed a new contract with Raytheon to manufacture sub-systems for the Patriot air and missile defence system, the company announced on 3 September.
Under the $38.1 million agreement, IDE will allocate significant work on the project to other Greek companies. The work is scheduled to be completed by July 2020.
The Patriot system includes radars, C2 technology and various types of interceptors, integrated to detect, identify and defeat tactical ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, UAS, advanced aircraft and other threats.
