First Strykers hit home in Thailand
The US military has delivered the first two M1126 Stryker 8x8 Infantry Carrier Vehicles (ICV) to the Royal Thai Army (RTA), according to US announcements issued on 29 August.
The maiden pair of vehicles was delivered by a USAF C-17A transport aircraft, they represent the first batch of 60 refurbished Stryker ICVs promised to Thailand. Bangkok is purchasing 37 of them through the Foreign Military Sales route, while the balance is being gifted for free.
