Denmark shortlists three companies for artillery competition
Elbit Systems, Hanwha Techwin and Nexter Systems have been shortlisted by the Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization (DALO) for the competition to supply the Danish Army with up to 21 new 155mm/52cal self-propelled howitzers (SPH), potentially worth $145 million.
A consortium of three Polish companies – Huta Stalowa Wola, Rosomak and WB Electronics – was eliminated from the competition. BAE Systems, the fifth company pre-qualified by DALO, chose not to participate in the competition.
