Denmark firms Eagle V order
Denmark has firmed up its commitment to buy the General Dynamics European Land Systems (GDELS-MOWAG) 4x4 Eagle V armoured vehicles, with a contract signed for 36 examples on 16 June.
The Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO) said in a release that two contracts were signed; one being a seven-year framework agreement and a second for a 15-year sustainment package.
The seven-year framework agreement will allow the Danish Army to acquire up to five variants of the Eagle V including the potential for patrol, electronic warfare and logistics examples.
Deliveries are expected to begin next year and will roll
