Deliveries conclude for Stryker 30mm guns
Orbital ATK has completed deliveries of 30mm XM813 cannons to the US Army, concluding its initial production contract for the service’s Stryker lethality upgrade programme.
The company has delivered a total of 12 cannons for the engineering manufacture design evaluation and an additional 83 guns to equip the new Infantry Carrier Vehicle – Dragoon (ICVD) vehicle, totalling 95 weapon systems.
The ICVD is equipped with an unmanned MCT-30 turret from Kongsberg, which integrates the 30mm XM813 as well as advanced optics and a precision fire control system.
