The Future Infantry Soldier As a System (F-INSAS) programme was terminated in its original format just over a year ago, to be replaced by two programmes.

One covers new assault rifles and protective equipment, while the other falls under the overarching battlefield management system (BMS) requirement.

MKU lists a number of components for the NICS, many of which are proprietary products from MKU’s range.

For example, the company’s Jaguar 14 lightweight monocular night vision device is mounted via a bolt-free Multi-Accessory Connector System (MACS) on a Mukut advanced combat helmet.
