Cloud Leopard II benefits from TLC
Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense (MND) showcased a series of improvements to the Cloud Leopard 8x8 infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) at the TADTE 2017 exhibition in Taipei.
Following feedback from military operators, the vehicle's designer - the 209th Arsenal, Materiel Production and Manufacturing Centre, Armaments Bureau - opted to make 15 modifications and upgrades to the original Cloud Leopard platform in order to enhance its combat performance.
The vehicle is one of the mainstays for the Republic of China Army and military police, with approximately 300 manufactured since 2007.
