China exports first HJ-12 ATGMs
Norinco announced on its official WeChat account on 25 March that it had begun its first export deliveries of the man-portable HJ-12E ATGM to an undisclosed customer.
The HJ-12E is an export version of the regular Red Arrow 12 (HJ-12) missile system. This is a third-generation ATGM that weighs 22kg all up, and it is China’s lower-cost equivalent of the American Javelin or the Israeli Spike.
