BAE Systems awarded howitzer work
BAE Systems Land & Armaments has received a contract modification from the US Army, the Department of Defense announced on 30 July.
The modification covers long lead material associated with the build of the self-propelled Howitzer, Carrier-Ammunition Tracked Vehicle, as well as the gathering of parts associated with the total fielding package.
The modification is valued at $88 million, and will see work completed by the end of January 2023.
