No plans for additional order of Austrian BvS10s
As the first fleet of 32 Austrian BvS10 all-terrain vehicles (ATV) edge towards Initial Operational Capability (IOC) doubts have been cast as to whether there will be a follow-on order for the new ATVs.
Reaching the IOC status of the BvS10 project will depend on the conclusion and positive evaluation of all required tests and trials, as well as finalisation of training of operators and maintenance personnel. Therefore, setting a specific date for this milestone is premature at this time.
