ArmorSource to deliver USMC helmets
ArmorSource has been awarded an order by the US Marine Corps (USMC) to deliver 10,000 Lightweight Helmets, the company announced on 3 May.
The helmets are scheduled for delivery during 2017.
ArmorSource is currently in the process of delivering 105,000 Lightweight Advanced Combat Helmet (LWACH) to the US Army. The LWACH is a lighter and ballistically improved version of the ACH. These deliveries are set to complete by the end of 2016.
Yoav Kapah, president and CEO, ArmorSource, said: 'This is the third significant order ArmorSource has received from the US government since the beginning of 2016. Needless to say, we are proud and excited about this and we see orders as a clear sign of the government's trust in ArmorSource, its employees, and its leading technology.'
