And the JLTV winner is… Oshkosh
After what seems like forever, the US Army has finally selected a vendor for the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) programme.
Oshkosh Defense has beaten competition from Lockheed Martin and AM General.
The company has been awarded a $6.8 billion production contract that includes a base contract and eight year options including three years of Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) and five years of Full Rate Production (FRP) of the first 16,901 JLTVs for both the US Army and the USMC.
