Aleris Europe wins defence contract
Aleris Europe announced today that they successfully closed a contract with Doosan DST Co., Ltd. (South Korea), to supply special alloy armour plates. The contract order is valued at approx. 10 million USD and runs for a period of 18 months. Demand for aluminium plating for defence applications is increasing as a result of weight-saving requirements.
Aleris is a leading supplier of high strength alloy plate for the defence industry.
