ADEX 2019: Hanwha unveils first prototype of deadly Redback
On the opening day of Seoul ADEX 2019, Hanwha Defense unveiled its first AS21 Redback IFV to the public. Such is the prestige of the Redback being shortlisted to proceed in the Australian Army’s Land 400 Phase 3 project that South Korean Prime Minister Lee Nak-yeon attended the ceremony.
The vehicle on show, the first prototype in existence, was completed just last month, according to Maanki Cho, a principal research engineer at Hanwha Defense. The vehicle will commence mobility tests in November.
