ADEX 2013: Rotem shows FCV concept
Hyundai Rotem is exhibiting its concept for future manned and unmanned vehicles at ADEX 2013 through a demonstrator that integrates both autonomous and hybrid electric drive technology.
The vehicle is one of five that are being built as part of a demonstration programme that was begun in 2006 and will see the final vehicle delivered in 2016. The project is being jointly funded by the company and the Korean Ministry of National defence to demonstrate a variety of technologies.
The chassis of the Future Combat Vehicle (FCV) was developed to demonstrate in wheel motor systems and hybrid electric drive propulsion.
