Additional buttstock variant for FN SCAR-SC
FN Herstal has developed a new short telescopic buttstock variant for its FN SCAR-SC subcompact carbine weapon, the company announced on 2 March.
The variant adds to the wide range of buttstock types available for this weapon, including standard telescopic buttstock; fixed buttstock; foldable buttstock; and foldable, adjustable offset buttstock for aiming and shooting with anti-riot or bulletproof helmet visor.
The FN SCAR-SC is designed specifically for security forces. The 5.56x45mm calibre FN SCAR-SC is available with semi-auto or selective fire trigger mechanism and features a wide variety of accessories including a sound suppressor, and can also feed non-military ammunition.
