Farnborough 2012: Boeing unveils MSA concept
Boeing has revealed details of a new offering that it is making to the maritime surveillance market based on the mission system capabilities of the P-8 Poesidon.
Briefing at the Farnborough International Airshow, Egen Greenstein, senior manager of business development for naval systems, said the company was using its own funding to take the capabilities of the P-8 and integrate them with the 'super mid-sized business jet' of an as yet unnamed manufacturer.
He said the aim was to develop 'solutions that are more appropriate for the international market space', which the company values at $10 billion over the next
