Eurosatory: Thales present new radio family

Thales has introduced a new family of software defined radios (SDR) for the export market at Eurosatory 2016.

Three new SDRs will make up the Synaps family which is based on the French Army’s soldier radio network - Contact. Synaps will be aimed at the export market.

The family will be made up of a vehicular, handheld and airborne system which will be able to be operated in fast jets and helicopters. Synaps-V, Synaps-H and Synaps-A respectively.
