An unnamed European country has authorised contracts with Elbit Systems for an advanced tactical communications system.
The contracts worth $40 million were announced at the end of May 2016 and will be delivered over a 12-month period.
The communication system will be comprised of the CNR9000HDR tactical IP radio for medium and long range communication, the THF 8000 for over the horizon very long range communication, and both will be in vehicular and man pack configurations.
In addition, the system will also include the new member of the E-Lynx suite of mobile networking radios’, the PNR-1000 soldier IP radio.
