Eurosatory 2012: Camero unveils through-wall sensor

Camero has launched the newest member of its through-the-wall imaging systems, the Xaver 100.

The company will use the Eurosatory exhibition in Paris, France to announce the launch of the system, which is a ‘revolutionary method for seeing through walls’, Joshua Levontin, director of business development for the company told Shephard.

The ‘ultra-portable’ 100 is the smallest of the family, which includes the 800 and 400, which serve to ‘identify where both living and inanimate things are’, Levontin explained.

The new variant provides instant situational awareness and target acquisition data, and has a detection range of up to 20m,
