Elbit Systems has announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Elbit Systems Electro-optics – Elop Ltd. (Elop), was awarded a contract to supply its MicroCoMPASS (Micro Compact Multi-purpose Advanced Stabilized System) electro-optical payload for boats of an Asian customer.
The contract is not in an amount that is material to Elbit Systems.
The customer is already equipped with Elop's CoMPASS payload for maritime surveillance onboard its maritime patrol aircraft (MPA) and maritime helicopters.
The selection of the MicroCoMPASS for its boats complements the customer's product portfolio and attests to its satisfaction with the systems already in operational use.
