BlackSky reaching the stars with its constellations

Intelligence and data start-up BlackSky is pushing ahead with a vigorous constellation campaign which involves the launch of an anticipated 24 satellites over a period of 18 months.

Speaking at geospatial conference DGI, Chantz Thomas, manager of solutions engineering for Spaceflight Industries, the subsidiary under which BlackSky operates, said that the company had launched its first two satellites in November and December 2018.
